Scholarships

Each year, the Advertising Federation of Southwest Florida gives several scholarships to deserving graduating high school seniors from Southwest Florida who plan an advertising or marketing-related degree program at an accredited college or university. Recognition is also given to an educator
or mentor who has impacted the student. Generally, applications are accepted in January and February and awards are presented each June. Call 239-489-0073 for more information.

AdVentures

is the FGCU College Chapter of the American Advertising Federation, the premier national trade association for advertisers, agencies, media, and government. AdVentures student members have access to numerous programs at the local, district, national and international levels that will enhance
their marketing and communications skills as they complete advertising curriculums. Students across all disciplines benefit by participating in the AAF National Student Advertising Competition that provides more than 3,000 college students with "real world" experience by creating a strategic marketing communications campaign for a corporate sponsor Programs and job placement includes more than 1,000 internship opportunities, academic competitions, scholarships and awards, career and industry resources as well
as membership to Alpha Delta Sigma Honor Society.
AdVentures members also volunteer for and network with local and regional professional member firms of the Advertising Federation of Southwest Florida.
